Gratitude healed me, and affirmations made me a new person. Not exaggerating at all. So, combining both would probably be the most powerful free recipe for transformation.
Hi, my name is Rachel, and I am an obsessive gratitude junkie! And you should be too! Here’s why!
Seventeen years ago, affirmations saved me from losing my job. And eight years ago, gratitude saved my life (literally). Both stories are long, and if you care about them, here’s a starting point.
What I want to share with you today is that you can modify or completely change your life through daily gratitude affirmations, and I will give you 30 of them to get you started. Also, an Affirmation Gratitude Journal will be waiting for you somewhere in the post below, so read carefully.

What is Gratitude? Why Does Gratitude Work?
Why gratitude matters? What is it about it that gets motivational gurus and successful (but mostly happy) people obsessed over it?
I must admit that every time I describe what gratitude is and how it works, I give a different definition.
Gratitude is the appreciation we give to someone for something we’ve received. Gratitude is a powerful feeling that emerges straight from the heart and soul (together) and has the potential to raise your body’s vibrations. That result is fixing your nasty mood and making you smile and feel better in a matter of seconds.
Gratitude is a mighty power you want to use every day – from morning to evening. I’ve been obsessing over it for so many years, and I’ve got a good arsenal of freebies, tips, and ideas for you on the blog if you care to dig here.
Examples of Gratitude
- I am grateful for this day and everything that happened.
- I am grateful for the discipline to wake up early today and exercise.
- I am grateful for the conversation I had with my sister; we cleared out so many things.
- I am thankful for the great place I visited yesterday with my friend.
- …
When Gratitude Becomes Essential?
That’s easy. Always!
And to sound a bit more “down to Earth”: Gratitude becomes especially essential when you are trying to change your mindset, attract good, and find that hidden gem called happiness.
Inviting gratitude is probably the cheapest, most positive way to take that first step to build a better You.

What Are Affirmations?
Affirmations are short positive sentences you repeat daily to improve your mindset, bring more positivity into your life, modify your thinking process, and replace negative self-talk.
They work similarly to gratitude, but while how we express gratitude usually changes daily, affirmations are more likely to stay the same.
In fact, they work better if you stick to the same one or two sentences for weeks in a row. This would give your brain time to adopt it as a way of thinking.
The essence of affirmations is to describe and attract whatever you desire into your life.
Examples of Affirmations
- I am worth it. I am loved. I deserve everything good that this day brings me.
- I am confident and knowledgeable. I do my job well.
- I am healthy. I am strong. I am feeling better and better with each breath I take.
- I am safe.
- I am exactly where I need to be.
What Are Daily Gratitude Affirmations?
And then we combine those two mighty powers into one magical meal that makes our senses explode with joy and abundance.
That is, if we do it correctly.
Positive gratitude affirmations are a manifestation technique that could transform your life in weeks if you let it do its job.
The goal is to attract more appreciation into your life for things you have or want to attract. Many people use gratitude affirmations to remind themselves of the little joyfulness of their everyday lives. And honestly, that is what makes it all special.
How To Use Gratitude Affirmations In Your Everyday Life
There are a few ways to implement gratitude affirmations:
- In your journaling – at the top of the page or just after your journaling session end.
- Saying them as normal affirmations in the morning or evening.
- Opening a file on your phone and writing one affirmation every day.
- Using flashcards with gratitude affirmations (I will give you those in a second)
