As a woman in the second half of my 30s, I think it’s time to put down on paper a few goals every woman should have.
These are 50 self-nourishing and empowering goals and rules that will give you a taste of everything in life. Because being a woman is challenging but also a brilliant, ever-evolving journey, I wouldn’t trade for anything else in the world.

Goals every woman should have
1. Dip your toes in new experiences every chance you get. Life gets exciting when we try new things.
2. Launch a passion project at least once every year.
3. Explore solo traveling.
4. Master a new skill every once in a while.
5. Mentor another woman. It could be a new colleague at work, a friend who needs help in a field you’re an expert at, or a stranger on the web.
6. Write a book. (nobody says you have to publish it)
7. Keep a journal.
8. Defend someone who gets mistreated in your presence.
9. Don’t be afraid to ask for what’s yours in your relationships or workplace.
10. Staying in bed for another hour on the weekend isn’t laziness. It’s rest.
11. Hug the people you love every chance you get.
12. You don’t need likes and hearts to confirm your worth and beauty.
13. Never argue with someone if you’re hungry. Eat something first. It saves lives.
14. Some men will never fully understand period pains. It’s okay as long as they show respect for the situation.
15. Keep your closest friends up to date with your love for them. Girl power exists no matter the age.
16. You are what you eat, literally. Junk food would give you junk feelings.
17. Listen more than you talk. I know it’s hard, and you are allowed not to follow this rule 97% of the time.
18. Find what brings you peace and stock up on that thing – item, person, book, experience.
19. Always have something new to learn. It keeps your brain active and your soul – happy.
20. Attend seminars, even by yourself.
21. Say no more often. You don’t owe people anything.
22. It’s okay if someone doesn’t like you. They don’t have to.
23. If someone says you hurt their feelings… apologize instead of convincing them they don’t feel hurt.
24. Your mental and physical well-being comes first. Then comes family. You can’t pour from an empty cup.
25. Read books. Listen to audiobooks if you don’t like reading them.
26. Start a business at least once in your life. It’s an invaluable experience that will teach you a lot about yourself.
27. Ask for a raise at your job. Nobody is going to fire you because you asked a question. And if they do, they did you a favor.
28. Self-reflection is a rare skill you want to work on mastering. Monthly, weekly, or daily reflection sessions are the way to start.
29. When you like something about someone, let them know. They can never think bad of you for liking something about them.
30. Be kind. Always.
31. Unknown isn’t a synonym of “scary” but of “challenge”. Challenges are opportunities for personal growth.
32. Your comfort zone is your prison. Step out of it.
33. Empathy is powerful.
34. Smile when you are happy. Yet, feel free to cry when you are sad. Respect the way you feel at all times – good or bad.
35. The present moment is truly the only one that exists… but dreaming of the future fuels our actions today.
36. If you don’t know someone who looks like you, acts like you, dreams like you, works like you, talks like you, or has the same beliefs as you… you are authentic. Be proud of it!
37. Seek ways to nurture your creativity through different projects: art, music, dancing, writing, and more.
38. Keep your sense of wonder alive by discovering new interests and hobbies regularly.
39. Let go of perfectionism. It is okay not to have all the answers or be flawless.
40. Practice forgiveness, both towards others and yourself, to release the weight of grudges and regrets.
41. Celebrate every little win. It’s yours. You worked for it.
42. Cultivate, nurture, and grow gratitude – towards you, nature, the people you know, and those you don’t know.
43. Don’t fear making mistakes; view them as valuable lessons that guide your journey.
44. Seek out strong female role models who inspire you in your career, community, and personal life.
45. Set boundaries. Respect your boundaries.
46. Embrace your time alone. You will miss it one day.
47. Have a plant garden for at least one season.
48. Follow only trends that resonate with you deeply.
49. Know who and what inspires you.
50. Love your life regardless of what it looks like.
