Signs you need to change your life right now
1. You feel stuck
It looks like the only change that happens in your life is the change of the seasons and the passing of the years. You are still on the same working place, your lifestyle is exactly the same since a few years ago and maybe even the food in your fridge is the same, just the expiration date is different.
Simply put, you feel stuck.
You feel so stuck that it’s almost choking. You don’t do or hear anything different and it’s painful.
2. You feel depressed, tired and demotivated
You are tired and depressed. You have no idea how to entertain yourself anymore. The world around you has lost its colours to you and that’s just sad.
Going through the same days over and over again, mixing the weekends with the weekdays, struggling to smile and not seeing the beauty of life (the beauty of life?!!?) is a huge alarm that you need to change your life. Asap!

3. You don’t have any energy left in you
Why would you want to change something if you don’t have any energy to live the life you already have?
Well, my friend, that’s one of the biggest signs you need a change in your lifestyle.
If you’re reading this around the holidays, or your birthday is coming soon and you don’t feel excited even a bit for it, that’s a sign as well.
Yes, we tend to spend the holidays and our birthdays the same way every year, but you should still be excited and not grumpy. There’re so many things you could be grateful for right now and if you cannot find them yourself, then you might want to think of changing your mindset.
4. Who you are isn’t who you want to be
Did I hit a soft spot?
I felt that way years ago. I just knew that who I was wasn’t who I wanted to be. It was so easy to ignore this feeling.
I was dissatisfied with the people around me, with my job, with my relationships. Until suddenly I realised that all that was something I’d settled for. It was things I had invited in my life to fit the wrong perception of who I was.
But who I was wasn’t who I wanted to be, so if I had changed who I was, the things around would’ve changed as well.
Does that even make sense?
Well, if you need a change in your life, you know exactly what I mean.
5. You struggle waking up or going to sleep
Scrolling the social media until after midnight and struggling to wake up at noontime on the next day is a huge indicator something has gone wrong.
Of course, we all have days we do that.
But if you’re passionate about something, if you work hard on your dreams and maximise your productivity every day, you won’t have time for the social media and the first thing you’ll do when your head hit the pillow is to snore. Loudly.
I know that staying on our phones has become the norm lately, but don’t get caught up in the middle of that madness. Use the machines around you in a way they serve a higher purpose and don’t suck the life out of you.
I spend over 12 hours daily on my computer or my phone. How long do I spend in mindlessly scrolling? Not more than 15 minutes.

6. You secretly cry sometimes
Feeling lost and not having a clear purpose in life is tiring and depressing. You might be able to live in this way for a while, but there’s something inside of you that isn’t OK with how things are.
Therefore, you sometimes cry by yourself and release the pain of not doing what you want to do or being who you want to be.

7. You know there’s more for you out there
I usually give this advice to people in toxic relationships, but it’s applicable in any other area of our lives.
I strongly believe I know that there’s something insight of us that knows our true purpose. That’s why we search for it and we don’t create it.
Listen to that inner voice that tells you there’s more for you out there. Listen to it saying that all you need to do is make the decision and step forward into your true destiny.
We are all born with unique looks, talents and we all have a different role in this world. What is yours?
8. You have dreams
Does that sound like an extremely stupid reason to need a change in your life?
We all have dreams.
Don’t think that it’s too trivial to say that we must follow them. Because the main reason to have dreams is to see the reality we could create for ourselves.
If we truly work on making our dreams come true, they will. It’s painful, but if it wasn’t painful you wouldn’t appreciate it.

9. People around you tell you that you need a change
If you’ve come to the point where everybody else around you tells you that you need a change, then you’re long over the point of that need.
You must change.
Your loved ones know when you’re unhappy and they can sense better than you your source of unhappiness.
Being stuck, depressed and demotivated to live your own life is so wrong that I don’t believe I know the right words to express it. People say it’s ok not to be ok.
But it’s ok not to be ok for a little bit. Then it’s being ok.
If you’re ok not to be ok for too long, your life gets wasted. Why should you waste the only thing you truly own?
10. You wait for something to change
Hm… that’s almost funny because it’s the most obvious sign you need to change your life.
Waiting for something different to happen is a sign you must make that change.
It will happen anyway. But why not choosing what type of change it will be?
