There is hardly any human alive nowadays that hasn’t experienced some sort of hardship throughout their life. Sometimes these hardships are easy to overcome and don’t require much effort on our end. Other times, however, it is difficult to see how we can get ourselves out of this difficult situation. Is it ever going to get better again?
I am no stranger to hard times as well. I can remember plenty of times where I was so desperate that all sense of hope had left my soul. When faced with such situations, it’s easy for me to remember that it can’t rain forever and that better times will eventually roll by, sooner or later. With time, I have learned to accept hardships as an essential part of life and the human experience.
Without experiencing those moments, I would never be the person I am today. For better or for worse, these scenarios shaped me – as I am sure they have shaped all of you too.
This doesn’t change the fact that sometimes it requires great emotional intelligence to recognize hard times as something potentially good for you. Sometimes we all need a little push to help us through these dark moments.
To help with that, here are some of my favorite uplifting quotes for hard times that have helped lift my spirit up when I’ve felt down.
